I’m not sure there’s anything else quite like the feeling of photographing your first wedding as a lead photographer. I am so honored that the new Mr. & Mrs. Pete Keltz entrusted me to capture the biggest moment of their lives.
Sarah and Pete hosted their closest family and friends at Pete’s Aunt Chrissy, Uncle Joe, and Aunt Karen’s home. It was an absolutely stunning location for their intimate gathering and added such sentimental value. They jumped at the opportunity that COVID provided by hosting a small celebration that was just truly ‘them’.
Sarah’s dad surprised her by bringing her mom’s wedding dress and gifting Sarah her mom’s pearls. Talk about a special moment between a father and daughter. There was not a dry eye in the driveway!
While I was waiting with Pete right before the first look, he told me he grew up in this house and how much it meant to him to see Sarah for the first time in the front yard. Their first look was definitely an emotional one, but it allowed all of us to take a deep breath and relax and truly enjoy the rest of their big day!
Following their intimate ceremony, guests were able to spread out, enjoy some cocktails, and were treated to absolutely delicious pizza from the Red Stone Pizza Truck. Heartfelt speeches by family members ensued, and cake pops made by the best man’s mom rounded out the night.
Sarah and Pete, it was such an honor to work with you on your big day!

Megan and Ryan are two of the sweetest souls and their love for one another is so evident. When we had our initial consultation before booking their wedding, I asked if they were interested in a First Look. They politely declined and said they can’t wait to see each other for the first time when […]
