As a Philadelphia engagement photographer and Montgomery County engagement photographer, summer evenings at Valley Forge National Park never disappoint — especially at the National Memorial Arch. Built in 1917 to honor General George Washington and the Continental Army, the arch sits at the heart of the park’s rolling hills and historic fields, creating a timeless backdrop that feels both peaceful and iconic.
For this session, we explored the monument just as the sun began to dip behind the trees, filling the entire landscape with warm, golden light. Between the sweeping stone archway, open meadows, and quiet pathways, Valley Forge offered the perfect blend of history and natural beauty.
